PINT: Diaper Rash Be Warned!

  1. Poor baby! If you're brave...try letting her bum dry out sans diaper for a half hour. My son got a nasty chemical burn from pampers dry max diapers and we had to do that. You can buy giant "accident pads" from Pet Smart for a few bucks. We laid him out on that.

  2. I hate diaper rash, makes my little guy so grumpy. He won't even let me wipe his bum, without kicking me in the arms. ARG! Glad to hear yours is getting better.

  3. what diapers are you using now??? we are having leak trouble again...even when we "tuck"!!! Hope the rash gets better soon!!! Sounds like you are doing everything that you can Momma. Just change her as soon as she wets and if possible let her air out.

  4. Triple Paste is the best! I had a constipated little guy for over a year...triple paste was the only thing that would clear him up and not burn!

  5. Hey--we share the same problem. What a pain in the butt! :-) My tip: cornstarch. http://www.myfirstbaby.com/blog

  6. Oh I can not remember what we always used. Ugh, I'll ask my sister since she has a baby now. I haven't had one for 12 years. But what ever it was my mom had us do, it worked in a days time.

  7. Diaper rashes are the worst! Monkey really gets some bad ones. We always use wet wash clothes to wipe when she has one and let her run around without a diaper for a little bit too. She had one a couple weeks ago with the blisters that bleed. :(

  8. Oh I've also heard you could use a little bit of milk of magnesia for diaper rashes. ;-)
